Photograph each assembly and label slate sections, rails, fasteners and legs. Protect cloth from dust and pack slate rigidly in line with the table design.
Check doors, lifts, stairs, section weights and cargo insurance first. Reassembly includes seams, cloth tension and accurate leveling; cutting corners changes rebound.
