Clean and separate the cue, cap the tip and wrap each section in soft material. Use a rigid tube slightly longer than the longest section; fill voids without squeezing the shaft.
Photograph the packed item and its condition before handover. Agree insurance, inspection and claims procedure, and keep metal parts separated from the cue.
