Recovering changes more than appearance: it affects speed and rebound. Plan it when cloth has worn tracks, permanent stains, stretching or damage from a miscue.
Before ordering
Record table format, discipline, rail width and preferred cloth. Measure the bed and ask whether the rails need a separate set. Some cloths require a defined nap direction or fastening method.
What the technician does
The technician removes old fabric, cleans the base, checks slate joins, stretches the new cloth without wrinkles and refits rails in the correct tightening sequence. Rough home-cut pocket openings often become weak points.
Acceptance checks
Inspect the surface under side light, run a hand over it for ridges and roll a ball in several directions. Match colour and product code to the order and ask how to clean it initially.
Do not seal the table under an airtight cover immediately; allow adhesive and fabric to settle according to the technician's instructions.
